Young girl hit in a failed “wheelie”

Story PictureAnd in another incident in the West Landivar area, just before six o’clock, a motor cycle driven by an adventurous man ran off the road. The incident occurred at the entrance to St. John’s Junior College when thirty year old Michael Brown who was driving his Honda CBR 600 motorcycle on Princess Margaret heading from Marion Jones stadium towards S.J.C., decided to do a wheelie. According to eyewitnesses, Brown raised the front wheel of his cycle and attempted to overtake a vehicle. And that is when he lost control and skidded from the median to the pavement next to the entrance to SJC Junior College and knocked down a young girl. The family of the girl said that they do not want to take court action against Brown, but the police say that he will be charged with Reckless Driving.
