Safiyyah has a feeling the weekend entertainment will be great
Safiyyah is back this week and she has the blotter of fun and exciting events for this weekend. From a party for the young and energetic to dancing for Latin lovers and much more happening all around the country. If you haven’t charted out your plans, listen up because this weekend it’s party time.
Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize?
In order to help raise funds to complete their new multi purpose auditorium, SCA’s alumnae association will be putting on a show tonight. This show will feature dance performances by the Belize Dance Group, the Nu Generation Dance group, Mammie Martinez dance group and many more. There will also be a performance by the class of 84. The show will begin at 7pm at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts.
Tonight French Kiss will having a party called the Libra Affair. This big Friday night bashment will be in honor of all you Libra’s celebrating their birthdays as well as the birthday of Tagg International’s Big John. The music will be provided by Madd Squad, Belizean movements and of course Tagg International. Ladies can enter free before 11 and there will be free shots all night. This will all be going down inside the Palm Island.
If you’re in a karaoke mood tonight then you can head over to Tropical Blue Lounge located at #23 King Street. You can sing the night away from 6 to 12 pm and then enjoy 70 and 80’s music in the dance that follows. This will be happening this and every Friday night.
On Saturday night all you Latino music lovers can head over to Club Underground where they will be having a huge bash. This party titled ‘sexy Latin night’ will feature the music of Belize’s number one Latin DJ Super Mario. So you can check that out.
If you’re an early bird and you’re in Belmopan then on Sunday you can head over to the Belmopan Comprehensive high around 6am. On Sunday the Belmopan Rotorac club will be having a walkathon. This is being held in an effort to help restore the parks in Belmopan as well as to create community programs. So make sure if you can, you support this good cause.
I also this event for you to look out for it’s huge birthday bash of Bobby Chin and Demarco happening in Cahal Pech on 16th of this month. This will feature Black Chiney, Eccentrix and of course performances by Demarco himself. This party typed concert will be hosted by DJ Dalla.
