CitCo advises on weekend street closures downtown

Works are advancing in the downtown area street project which the City Council is planning to complete in time for the Independence Day bash. But before that can happen there are some night time closures on Albert and Regent Streets which will hopefully not interfere significantly with the flow of traffic over the weekend. The area of Albert Street between Prince and South Streets is closed tonight until six tomorrow morning. Tomorrow, September fifth, the area of Albert Street between Church and South Streets as well as the portion of Regent between King Street and Treasury Lane will be closed from five in the evening to six in the morning. On Saturday, the portion of Albert Street from the Swing Bridge to Church Street and the portion of Regent Street from Treasury Lane to the Swing Bridge will be closed from five in the evening until Sunday morning.
