Tyrone Estrada gets one year for Burglary
Twenty-six year old Tyrone Estrada, who was charged with Burglary and Handling Stolen Goods, was sentenced today to one year at Hattieville Prison. Estrada appeared before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers and he pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods. After the guilty plea was accepted Flowers withdrew the Burglary charge from Ernie Miranda and the charge of Handling Stolen Goods from Tyrone Young and Miranda.
The incident occurred on December twenty-eighth, 2007 at Mahogany Heights between miles twenty-five and twenty-six on the Western Highway. The police intercepted a taxi in which Estrada, Miranda and Young were traveling. When the police searched the car, they found a number of household items and tools valued at three thousand, five hundred dollars. The items were stolen from the house of Norman.
