Phoenix Hotel jacked of six thousand dollars
Police in San Pedro are investigating a report by a hotel manager that almost six thousand dollars was stolen from the island company. According to the manager of Pheonix Hotel, on August seventh she tasked employee Carlos Perez with purchasing some lumber. She says Perez then gave her an account number in which to deposit the five thousand, nine hundred and fifty-eight dollars. Shortly afterwards, Perez was fired from the establishment … and on Friday the company discovered that the account they deposited the money into belonged not to the lumber supplier, but to a woman named Miriam Supaya Nunez.
