Ten vie for Queen of the Bay crown
The September Celebrations officially kicks off this Friday under the theme: “Belizeans learning our past, impacting our present, embracing our future.” One of those events on schedule is the prestigious Queen of the Bay pageant this coming Saturday and this time the contestants will be on stage. Here’s a glimpse of the beauties vying for this year’s crown.

This morning, the press officially met the ten young Belizean ladies contesting the sixty-second Queen of the Bay Pageant. The contestants have been engaged in a whirlwind of meet and greets and photo shoots since the beginning of the week. Today they met with Belize City Mayor Zenaida Moya at the City Hall. The girls, ranging between the ages of seventeen and twenty-one, stood tall as they chatted about beauty tips with the Mayor. Travelling with the girls is outgoing Queen of the Bay Ronnie Coye.

The girls will take centre stage at the Belize City Center this Saturday at seven sharp. Tickets can be bought at Bi-way gift shop for fifteen dollars reserved and ten dollars general.
