Juliet Thimbriel resigns post as Senate

And in the internal squabbling in the ranks of the U.D.P., latest word to News Five this evening is that Senator and talk show host, Juliet Thimbriel, has resigned her appointment as Senator. The talk show co-host of the U.D.P. morning show called “Fus Ting da Mawnin”, was apparently dressed down by the leadership for outrageous commentaries she made on air today. Thimbriel apparently then decided to call it quits other than face suspension from her talk show or any form of censorship from within her own party. This morning, Thimbriel was heard berating Mayor Zenaida Moya on air over the latest debacle at City Hall and calling for the Mayor to quote… “get it right”. Prime Minister Barrow left the mess behind and took off on holiday today.
