Corozal man failed to deliver goods, charged with Theft
A very trusting Corozal Town man is thousands of dollars short. Forty year old, Dean Marchand reported to police that he was stiffed of eight thousand six hundred dollars to thirty-eight year old Roberto Castellanos. Marchand reportedly gave Castellanos the cash to purchase cement and steel rods in Merida on his behalf. The money was given to Castellanos between the twentieth and twenty-eighth of March and months later the goods have not yet been delivered. Castellanos, also of Corozal town, has now been charged for the crime of Theft.
