Police finally get Denfield Tasher

Eighteen year old Denfield Tasher was charged today with Attempted Robbery and Aggravated Assault. He was wanted by police for a June burglary of Femy Young’s home on Coffin Street. Police report that last Friday morning, Tasher entered Profile Jewelry Shop on Regent Street with a big brown bag which contained a pistol. The sales clerk, Shawn Santiago reported that Tasher pointed the bag at him and demanded that he hand over a tray of gold chains. Daring to be brave Santiago refused to comply and instead alerted a police officer nearby. Unfortunately by the time the police came, the perpetrator had disappeared. But police got lucky later that day and detained Tasher. When he appeared in court, he pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded into custody until September eleventh.
