Weekend fun with entertainment, Safiyyah!
If you’re a food lover then listen up because there’s a new restaurant in town that specializes in exotic dishes from the Middle East. There’s also a full weekend itinerary of activities for the entire family including a benefit concert to aid the victims of Hurricane Richard. Entertainment host Safiyyah has the scoop on this weekend’s major events.

If you wanna try something exotic tonight then you can head over to the Sahara Grill Restaurant. This new Arabic restaurants will feature Middle Eastern cuisine to gratify your taste buds. They are located on the Northern Highway Across from the Biltmore Plaza Hotel. Tonight it their grand opening, so you might wanna check that out.
Tonight and every Friday night in November you can head over to Club Next where they will be having ‘Hot Latin Fridays’. You can head there n enjoy Bachata, Reggaeton, Salsa, Cumbia and much more. The music will be provided by DJ Super Mario.
This Saturday night I am urging all Belizeans that can make it to head over to the Bliss Center for the performing Arts and support the Hurricane Richard Relief Concert. A number of our Belizean artists will be coming together to help raise much needed funds for the victims of the natural disaster. There will be performances by Tanya Carter, Ernestine Carballo, Nello Player, Instruments of Love, Jackie Castillo and many more. This will begin at 7pm. It’s a very worthy cause so if you can, please go out and support it.
Remember the Stressfree tour I told you about, well next week Friday they will be making a stop in Sugar City. This traveling party will be hitting up Hi5 Night club in Orange walk. Then on Saturday night they’ll be making a stop in Placencia at Club Eclipse. I’ll give you more information on that one next week.
Also next week you should look out for the concert that will be going down inside the Fort Street Shopping plaza. This will feature plenty of Belizean Artists like Melonie Gillett, Mr. Program and others as well as international artists. More info on that one will be coming your way next week.
