Miss Costa Rica wins Bikini competition

While the Reina De La Costa Maya Pageant is to be held this Thursday night in San Pedro, the contestants were invited to spice up the week by participating in a special mini pageant. Last night Fido’s Courtyard hosted the eight delegates in what they call La Reina Fido’s Bikini Competition. The winner is Miss Costa Rica Maria Elena Quesada. We bring you some highlights of the contest which organizers hope will inspire you to go to San Pedro for the actual Reina De la Costa Maya Pageant.

“It was very nice. I had a great time and the competition has been great with all the crowd, all the people. I feel fantastic for winning. I’m actually a model in Costa Rica I always like to do swimsuit and I think this is the prize for me. Thank you very much. It has been great, has been a great experience. All the Belizeans have been wonderful with us. I feel like a new home.”

While the Reina De La Costa Maya Pageant is on Thursday, local and international artists will be entertaining on stage throughout the weekend. Friday night is the opening Gala and Mega Concert; Saturday is the International Night; and Sunday is the Night for the Family.
