Telemedia makes $2.2 million tax payment
It is the basis for an ongoing battle between the government and Telemedia, and it is over the payment of business taxes. When we checked this afternoon, Telemedia had made payment of two point two million dollars in taxes to the government for the month of May that were due today in compliance with an order from the Revenue Magistrate. Telemedia contends that payment was made under duress even though the matter is under arbitration in London.
