U.S. retiree drowns at Caye Caulker
Sometime around two-thirty yesterday afternoon James Pugh, a seventy-seven year old retiree found his untimely death in the waters of Caye Caulker. It is believed that Pugh went sailing along the shoreline of the caye when his sailboat overturned and he was not wearing a life jacket. Nearby fishermen recovered his body from the waters. Pugh was a U.S. national who embraced Caye Caulker as his place of retirement along with his wife for the past three years. Police continue to investigate the incident but do not suspect any foul play.
