Blackouts interrupt Albert Street business; more expected
The business community on Albert Street experienced a scheduled power outage today. According to B.E.L., the outage is the first phase of B.E.L.’s upgrade of its power lines in the area to facilitate the paving of Albert and Regent Streets, which is being carried out by the Belize City Council. A second phase of power line upgrades and power outages are planned for next week.
