Family and police suspect foul play in case of missing man
Twenty-two year old Armick Escobar left his Cleghorn Street home last week Tuesday evening to socialise with two friends and according to his family, has not been seen since. Police reports are that around six-thirty last Tuesday evening, two of Escobar’s friends, Julian Barrow and Paul Gibson went to pick him up at his home on Cleghorn Street. At around ten-thirty, they claim Escobar headed back home. Police detained Barrow and Gibson but have released them for lack of evidence in the disappearance of Escobar. Now concerned that something might have happened to him, both family and police suspect foul play and are asking the public’s assistance to help find him.

“The family’s concern stems from the fact that he has gone for several days and has not called home or get in contact with any family members. So there’s this great level of concern as to where he is, his whereabouts, if he’s alive and well. So they would want to hear from him and this is what this appeal is about.”

“You all feel that something bad might have happened to him?”
Colin Gill
“That’s a possibility but we would have to leave that up the ongoing investigation and the police and to the general public at large who can provide information to us and the family. To Armick, if he hears this message, if he’s somewhere around and he can hear this message, we’re asking that you kindly call your home, speak to your mother, your family members, just to call them and let them know that you’re fine. That will take care of all of this concern.”
Escobar was robbed a little over a month ago at Salt Creek Range when he went to purchase a vehicle. At the time, Escobar said his attackers stole six thousand five hundred dollars from him. If you have any information about the whereabouts of Armick Escobar you’re asked to call the nearest police station or 600-0806.
