Cousins charged with murder of Mahogany Heights man
Two cousins, who have been accused of the murder of a Mahogany Heights man, were taken to court this morning. The two, twenty-four year old Kenrick Parham and eighteen year old Derrick Parham, are facing the murder charges following the fatal stabbing of Orlando Montero on July tenth. Montero, a logger and ex B.D.F. soldier, was traveling on a passenger bus heading home when he got into an argument in the bus. When Montero got off at the Mahogany Heights junction he was allegedly followed by the two Parham cousins. He was caught about three hundred yards from where he exited the bus and was brutally stabbed. His body was found the following day about thirty feet from the roadside. Both cousins are in police custody and are to reappear in court on August twenty-fifth.
