Towheads buck at roundabout paralyzing traffic …
Just before noon today, traffic came to a halt at the busiest area of Belize City, that is, the roundabout across from Pallotti High School. Normally you would find drivers breaking the law by trying to cut in front of other vehicles on the roundabout. But this time it was two large towheads that attempted to do the same in a space that is barely enough for one. Because one of them was carrying a long load behind it, the vehicles were slightly damaged. Nonetheless the accident blocked vehicles moving from Pallotti and Freetown Road to the Northern Highway for about half an hour.
