One held for murder of Mahogany Heights man
Police have one of two men in custody for Thursday night’s murder of thirty-two year old Orlando Montero, whose body was found at Mahogany Heights where he resides. Montero met his death soon after he exited a bus in which his assailants were also traveling. Police Press Officer, Clement Palacio, updated the media on the strides they’ve made to solve this latest murder.

“Police have in their custody Kenrick Parham. He is in police custody and they are still looking for Derrick Parham. So again, the public is asked to please cooperate and to let us know where he is. Based upon the report we have received, the men exited a National Transit bus—all three we’re told—they exited and it seems that there was an altercation between them. A weapon was produced, a struggle ensued, he was chased and then subsequently stabbed.”
Police say the man in their custody, Kenrick Parham, and their wanted man, Derrick Parham are brothers, but News Five has learned they are cousins. Police have not recovered the murder weapon.
