1 stabbed but 3 charged for attempted murder of Daniel Pineda

We reported last Thursday that eighteen year old Daniel Pineda was stabbed in Belize City during an altercation with Justin Wade, Denroy McFoy and two other youths. Eighteen year old McFoy was accused of inflicting the injuries and today he was arraigned along with two minors, ages sixteen and seventeen, in the court of the Chief Magistrate. The trio was charged with Attempted Murder and McFoy was remanded to the Central Prison while the minors were sent to the Youth Hostel. They are to return to court on January fourteenth, 2011.  According to Pineda, he was standing on Hunter’s Lane on the night of December eighth when around eight-forty he was approached by the group of four and an argument ensued. McFoy is said to have stabbed him under the right arm with a knife.
