Would be robbers nabbed by police
Cayo police got a lucky break over the weekend when they intercepted a vehicle and prevented the commission of a robbery. Acting on a tip they received, San Ignacio police stopped a grey four-door Honda occupied by three teens. A search of the young men led to the discovery of two pairs of latex gloves, a machete, a knife, a blue rag, and two warm caps. As a result, sixteen year old Ferdinand Muschamp, seventeen year old Ryan O’brien, and eighteen year old Martin Segura, all of Santa Elena Town, were arrested and charged with Going Equipped to Commit the Crime of Robbery. The young men were allegedly on their way to rob a local grocery store in Santa Familia Village.
