Government of Cuba awards fifteen scholarships to Belizeans
Fifteen more Belizeans will be furthering their education in Cuba courtesy of scholarships from that government. According to a release from the Cuban Embassy, the students will be pursuing degrees in Technology in Health, English, Sports and Physical Education, Law, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Education. The scholarships cover tuition, fees, room and board, and books. The Government of Belize’s contribution will be a monthly stipend.
