Police charge Succotz man for Jerson Paguada murder

Just before expiring, he told police that his injuries were the result of an accident. But today, Benque Viejo police have charged a man with the murder of twenty-five year old Jerson Paguada of the San Martin area in Belmopan. The man charged is eighteen year old Estevan Williams of Succotz Village. Police say that their investigations have revealed that Paguada, was in fact bludgeoned to death. Paguada was discovered during a joint patrol with the Belize Defence Force on Sunday night in the Succotz area on the right hand side of the Western Highway. He was lying face down and was bleeding profusely from large cut wounds to his forehead, under his chin, the right side of his neck, lower lip, and right forearm. He died shortly afterwards in the San Ignacio Hospital.
