Belize Bank gives back to customers

Across town, the Belize Bank was also in a generous mood and gave back to five of its customers who throughout 2010 turned to them for financial assistance.  The lucky persons won cash and other prizes in a raffle that took place at the bank’s headquarters on Albert Street.  Bank representative, Monique Salazar says it’s the least that the bank can do for its valued customers.

“This year more than others people were – their pockets were a little more tighter, so I think a lot of people came in and took advantage of our promotion this year.  We always look for the best offers for our customers.  That’s something we’re looking into for 2011 and we hope to bring a bigger and better promotion next year.”

This year’s first prize winner was Jenia Jenkins of Stann Creek District.  She won a trip for two to Hamanasi Resort and a roundtrip for two from Belize City to Dangriga, a snorkeling package and five hundred dollars cash; second place went to Paula Vera also of Stann Creek.  She won a thirty-two inch LCD brand television.  Third place winner was Suzette Peyrefitte, of Belize City, who won a thousand dollar gift certificate at Mirab’s.  Fourth prize went to Roberto Gongora of San Pedro, won five hundred dollars as did Ervin Moralez, of San Ignacio Town.  Meanwhile, if you have business to conduct with the Belize Bank before the Christmas holiday, the bank closes at one on Friday afternoon.
