Fireman murdered in Orange Walk
An Orange Walk fireman has been murdered. According to police reports, around ten Thursday night, thirty-nine year old Michael Wills was socialising at Cool Place Restaurant and Bar at the corner of San Antonio Road and Staine’s Alley in Orange Walk town when a man armed with a nine millimeter pistol and wearing a grey raincoat with a hood concealing his face entered the establishment and shot Wills. The man then took three hundred dollars from the cash drawer and left on a bicycle. Wills’ body has been transported to the Northern regional hospital morgue, where he was pronounced dead. Four persons are detained pending an investigation by Orange Walk Police.
