Justice Sosa takes oath as New President of Court of Appeal
As we reported in our newscast on Monday, Justice Manuel Sosa has been sworn in as President of the Court of Appeal in what has been described as the Belizeanization of the Court. Justice Sosa was sworn in by Governor General Colville Young and the event was witnessed by Attorney General, B.Q. Pitts at the Belize House. Here’s a snippet of Justice Sosa taking the oath.

“I Manuel Sosa do swear that I will bear true faith and allegiance to Belize and will uphold the constitution and the law and that I will conscientiously, impartially and to the best of my ability, discharge my duties as president of the Court of Appeal and do right to all manner of people without fear or favor, affection or ill will so help me God.”
