Dead man identified; death was accidental electrocution

Police found his body around two-thirty last Friday afternoon not far from his home in Lord’s Bank Village. And while a post mortem examination did not determine that foul play was involved, police were asking the public’s help to identify the man. Today police reported that the deceased is forty-seven year old Stephen Jones who appeared to have been electrocuted while trying to run power into his house. Jones was buried that same evening because of the body’s advanced state of decomposition, even though he had not yet been identified. Based on the description of the clothing and other items he wore, his family came forward and confirmed his identity.
