Second double murder suspect detained by police
Police have made a second arrest in connection with last week’s double murder in Bermudian Landing. The suspect, who was apprehended in Belize City last night, is expected to be charged with two counts of murder and will appear in court tomorrow. He now joins eighteen year old John Chessman, who was arraigned before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers yesterday on the same charges. Meanwhile, police continue to look for two other suspects in connection with the incident in which nineteen year old Karen Crawford and forty-four year old Maurice Banner were shot to death at the home of Emerson Wade. Wade, who is believed to have been the original target of the attack, is believed to be cooperating with police.
