1 1/2 years later, family still wants answers about missing youth
The family of Anthony Roches who went missing in 2008, observed somberly his twenty-second birthday this past Tuesday. Since Roches’ disappearance there has been little or no information to confirm or deny his death after he vanished into the night. Despite the uncertainty, his family is hoping to drum up some answers with a restated financial incentive and gain closure. Roches’ mother, Agnes Nunez, told News Five earlier this week that she knows her son is no longer alive, but wants anyone with information on what happened to him or where his body is to come forward. Nunez says the thousand dollar reward she offered when Roches first went missing still stands. Roches, who was only twenty years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on the night of February twentieth, 2008 riding on the handle bar of a friend’s bike and heading toward a home off Mahogany Street. His case remains tagged under police investigations continue. Anyone with information can reach Nunez at 665-7208.
