Here’s What’s Happening in Belize this weekend with Arielle

It’s Friday night, which means the parties are lined up for the rest of the weekend. So go ahead and pick out an outfit because Arielle is here to help you decide where to go. On the lineup there’s a big award show with an even bigger after party. B.D.F. Day is this weekend and there’s plenty more going on in Ladyville and out west. Here’s What’s Happening in Belize this weekend.

And this is “What’s happening Belize!”

I have a fun filled weekend lined up for you, starting in Cayo as Citizens for Charity present, “Strings and Voices Unplugged.” This goes down on Saturday at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel at 8:00pm. Tickets cost only $20 and $15 for students. All proceeds from this event go to the Octavia Waight Center (home for the elderly).

I’m pretty sure you’ve been hearing the buzz around town about the big awards show, well it’s finally here! Flavaz Entertainment presents the first annual “Belizean Music Awards Show” there will performances by. Nello Player, Melanie Gillett, Tanya Carte, and that’s just to name a few. This red carpet special starts at 8:00 pm at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts

But the party doesn’t stop there; CRUFFYcast.com and TAGG Entertainment has joined up with Flavaz Entertainment to deliver the official after party inside club Next. The after party will feature music by DJ Jago, DJ Dynasty, Selecta Orson and Dymatics. The nominees from the BMA’s will be in attendance and the winners from the various categories will be performing. Entrance will be $10 with your B.M.A. ticket stub and $15 otherwise. And of course, ladies enter free before 11:00 pm. The promoters also encourages everyone to look out for the SEDUCTION SATURDAYS group on face book and join now to gain access to exclusive upcoming promotions.

Calling all dancers! The Happy Hour Night Club in Ladyville will be having a “Dancehall Queen” competition this Friday. The winner walks away with $500 in cash and prizes and there will be free Appleton for everybody from 11 to 12 midnight.

It’s “Latin Night” at Vista Del Mar, Ladyville inside Karina’s Cool Spot. The party starts at 9 with free tequila shots at the door. Music will provided by Belize’s top rated Latin Dj, Dj Super Mario. This kicks off on Friday night.

For those of you who prefer a more family oriented event, The Belize Defense force will be having their annual B.D.F. day at Price Barracks Ladyville. But rather than to just tell you about it I’ll show a preview of activities you can expect at this year’s B.D.F. day .We were on location and got the details from the soldiers themselves, we even got to see the rehearsal of the mock battle check it out!
