Cops looking for “person of interest” in grenade murder
Police are tonight reporting that they have one person detained for questioning and are looking for another in connection with Sunday night’s grenade attack on Mayflower Street. According to the Crimes Investigation Branch, Kareem Smith was brought in by the C.Y.D.P. on Tuesday and is currently in custody. In the meantime, police are on the lookout for his younger brother, Akeem Smith, who is described only as a person of interest. Viewers with information on Akeem’s whereabouts are asked to please contact the nearest police station.
