No bail for man charged with Burglary, Assault

In other crime news, today a Belize City man appeared in Magistrates’ Court to answer to charges of Burglary and Aggravated Assault. Twenty-five year old David Lambey pled not guilty to the offences and after the prosecution objected to bail, was remanded to prison. A nineteen year old woman reported to police that on the afternoon of May seventh Lambey and another friend were drinking at her house. After they left, she says she went to sleep. That slumber turned into a real life nightmare when the teen said she awoke to find Lambey standing over her with his hand on her private parts. Lambey reappears in court on May nineteenth.
