Burglars entertained with assortment of Diamond Entertainment’s liquor
A bar on St. Thomas Street in Belize City was burglarized on Sunday morning. It appears that the thieves were more interested in getting high than getting cash. The burglars broke into Diamond Entertainment during closing hours and stole over a dozen packs of cigarettes, half a dozen quarts of rum, an assortment of brandy, beer, stout, a cellular phone and a few hundred dollars in cash. The burglary was reported by the bar’s manager Feliciana Coy. In 2009, the former manager of the bar was lucky to escape with his life while during a robbery attempt, the assailant’s gun misfired.
