Question to viewers: How to transcribe Kriol
Over the years we have consistently received comments from viewers/readers expressing their difficulty with our transcriptions of certain quotes in stories in which the speakers use Kriol. The common complaint is that such transcriptions are difficult—if not impossible—to read. The other side is that putting broad Kriol into proper English destroys all the flavour of the quote.
