In this week’s What’s Happening Belize, Arielle is mixing things up and has some fun activities for the kids and the adults. So get in the mood to relax and have a good time; whether you want to take in some art or you want to put on your dancing shoes.

…and this is “what’s happening Belize!”
This week I have lots of activities lined up for the kiddies and young folks starting in Corozal.
Paraiso Government School will be having its annual fair at the school grounds this Saturday at 4. There will be plenty of food and drinks on sale, and enough fun games to keep the entire family entertained.
The Belize National Library Service and Information System are hosting its “door step tales” and “the read aloud program” on the following dates: get out your pen and paper and jot this down.
The Door Step Tale program will take place on February 26, at the Thurton Library Center. It starts at 10:00 am and concludes at 12 noon. The guest reader for the event will be Mrs. Myrna Pitts.
The Read a Loud program will be March 5, also at the Thurton Library Center it starts at 10:00 and ends at 12. Children between the ages of 5 and 13 are invited. Read a Loud and Door Step Tales is all about learning with fun.
Its Silky smooth Saturday at Thirsty Thursday’s restaurant and bar, music will be provided by Elito Urbina and Thirsty’s own house Dj. There will also be free wine for the ladies
Then for all my art fanatics, this Saturday, we take to the streets as the Bliss Institute presents “the first ever street art festival” come witness your talented Belizean artists as they express their artistic ability.
Melonie Gillett will be on the “open your eyes” morning show promoting the launch of her awesome new music video, entitled “love me” so be sure to check that out open your eyes this Monday.
KTV Latino is getting hot, hot, hot! Be sure to tune in every Tuesday at 8pm and vote for your favorite singers using your smart phone.
