Man arrested for carnal knowledge of 13yr. old
A thirty-seven year old fisherman of Rhaburn’s Alley in Belize City has been remanded to the big house until May second for the carnal knowledge of a thirteen year old girl. When Joseph Vacarro appeared before Chief Magistrate Margaret Gabb today she denied him bail after the prosecution objected on the grounds that the offence has become all too common and Vacarro might interfere with the victim. Police say they pursued a tip on April seventh which led them to Vacarro’s house where they found the pair partially nude. The minor reported that she had sexual relations with Vacarro.
