Woman stabbed in Placencia; assailant on the loose

Meanwhile, a stabbing in Placencia has left a food vendor suffering from multiple wounds and the suspect on the run. According to witnesses, forty-three year old Brenda Bernard and her common-law husband, forty-six year old Lincoln Kerr, were at the Barefoot Beach Bar on Sunday night but around seven fifteen the two began to argue. It is alleged that the dispute escalated to violence during which the suspect stabbed Bernard five times with a knife. The victim was airlifted to the K.H.M.H. but was discharged earlier today. Kerr has yet to be detained and police have not recovered the weapon used in the attack.
