Stann Creek dad charged with incest

It has yet to be determined whether the large number of sexual assaults on children by their own family members represents a new phenomenon or simply a greater willingness to report the crimes … but either way, the frequency of child incest cases cannot help but make us question the sanity of the society we have created. Today police are reporting another set of attacks in the Stann Creek District. On Monday a grandmother accompanied her two female grandchildren, ages eight and ten, to the Dangriga Police Station where the girls reported multiple sexual violations by their father beginning in January of this year. The alleged perpetrator, age thirty-eight, has been charged with Incest, Grievous Harm and Indecent Assault.
