Bardalez arrested for Sunday shooting

On Monday, we reported that a warrant was out for the arrest of twenty year old Edwin Bardalez and it did not take long for him to be taken into custody. This morning Bardalez appeared in Magistrates’ Court to answer to charges for the Sunday shooting of fifty-seven year old Glen Rivero. Bardalez was arraigned for Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm, and Use of Deadly Means of Harm and remanded to prison until May thirteenth. While Bardalez told Magistrate Margaret McKenzie that he knows nothing about the incident, police believe that he is the man who knocked on Rivero’s door early in the morning, and when the traffic supervisor opened it, he fired his shotgun, putting Rivero in the hospital.
