Two charged in supermarket robbery
Police have also made arrests in the Saturday night robbery of Galaxy Supermarket in Belama Phase Two. Twenty-six year old Deon Lord and twenty-two year old Clifton Flores were today charged in Magistrates’ Court with two counts of Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. A third man, Cardinal Welch Myvette, who was detained at the scene after being shot in the leg by a customer, will be charged shortly. Police are still seeking a fourth suspect, believed to be the driver of the getaway car. Lord and Flores have been remanded to Hattieville Prison until their next court date on April second.
