Fisherman dies on the sea
A Honduran fisherman of Independence Village headed out to the Placencia Lagoon at around eight o’clock on Wednesday morning. Fifty-seven year old Arsenio Reyes did not return home and exactly twenty-four hours later, police received a report that the body of a Hispanic male was floating in the lagoon. The body was later identified as Reyes and it has since been transported to the morgue at the Southern Regional Hospital. Police are investigating and a post mortem is pending to determine what caused Reyes’ sudden death.
