Espat says P.U.P. bosses trying to “fix” election
He didn’t participate in yesterday’s war of words involving fellow candidates Francis Fonseca and Johnny Briceño, but today Mark Espat weighed in on recent events in the race to be the new leader of the People’s United Party. Espat sent a series of emails to P.U.P. secretary general Henry Charles Usher saying that sixteen of thirty one constituencies—a majority—want the number of delegates to the March thirtieth convention increased. Espat also complained that the present party leadership is trying to “fix” the results of the election in favor of Francis Fonseca.
