Teams get your cue sticks ready, for the Heineken Shoot out 8 Ball pool tournament. It’s a two day countrywide tournament happening on the 1st and the 2nd of May at the Royal Whole Sale Parking lot.  Registration fee is $30 per team. 1st prize is $1000 and 5 cases of Heineken, 2nd prize is $500 and 3cases of Heineken and 3rd prize is $250 and 2 cases of Heineken. For all my Belizean American that will be travelling to the states next week, The Belizean Melody Swingers Band Proudly presents “A special mother’s day dance, on May 7th at the newly renovated Saint Joseph Parish Hall, on 131 Arlington Avenue, Brooklyn NY. Food and drinks will be on sale and admission is $20. There will be musical entertainment by The Belizean Melody Swingers Band all backed up by Dj King Lion it all starts at 10pm……………………..

And of course its agriculture weekend in Belmopan. Take your kids, take your grandma, take your dog, take uncle Lou who just came in from the states…take the entire family out for a day of fun in the sun, you can choose Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or all three. And while am on the note of taking stuff….don’t forget to take out your sun screens, don’t act like you don’t know how hot its going t be! There will be food and plenty to drinks on sale, fun games and activities, spectacular deals on everything, enough stalls and rides for everyone.  And people please!  Be careful on the highway remember! If you driving don’t drink and if you’re drinking don’t drive!……………………..
