Corozal driver charged for possession of prohibited ammo/drugs
Following the discovering of a large quantity of prohibited ammunition at a home in Corozal, one man has been charged while investigators look for two others. Forty-two year old Hector Itzab was the only person at the Flamboyant Street residence when a police search turned up two hundred and seventy rounds of AK47 ammunition and what is suspected to be marijuana seeds and weed. He has since been charged with two counts of Drug Trafficking, two counts of Kept Ammunition without a Gun License and Kept Prohibited Ammunition. The owners of the house, James and Jason Quan are still at large but police say they will be charged with the same offences when they are arrested.
