Belize City security guard injured in drive-by shooting
A security guard is lucky to be alive tonight after he was shot three times in a drive-by shooting. Twenty-four year old Albert Foreman told police that he was riding his bicycle in Buttonwood Bay around four on Saturday morning when he was attacked. According to the victim, a maroon Ford Escort pulled up behind him, one of its occupants put a gun out the window and pulled the trigger multiple times. After being hit, Foreman made his way back to Park Avenue and sat down until help arrived. The victim was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and is listed tonight in a serious condition with bullet wounds to his back, right thigh and right ankle. Up to news time, no arrests had been made in connection to the shooting.
