Prohibited ammo, drugs seized in Corozal home raid

A police raid at a Corozal home has resulted in the seizure of drugs and prohibited ammunition. According to police, around seven-thirty on Thursday night their search of the home of James and Jason Quan on Flamboyant Street turned up a cassette pouch with marijuana seeds, weed, three nine millimetre bullets, a sixteen gauge cartridge and twenty-seven magazines each containing ten rounds of AK47 ammunition. In another part of the house, investigators also found four cases of Lucky Gold cigarettes. Cops immediately detained the only person at home at the time, Corozaleno Hector Itzab. He remains in police custody pending charges of Possession of Prohibited Ammunition. Up to news time tonight, the homeowners, James and Jason Quan were still at large.
