Farewell to campaign ads 2008
It’s been over a week now since election day and viewers may have noticed that since Friday the length of the ad breaks in this newscast has shrunk from a high of around twenty minutes each to a more manageable four or five. And while the public may not mourn the loss of those endless political advertisements, we kind of grew attached to them, not only for the healthy revenues they brought in but also for their impressive creativity. Tonight News Five’s Rick Romero has put together a short montage of those memorable spots as a final farewell to campaign 2008.
