Placencia murder linked to drug deal gone sour
Shortly after the smoke cleared in Belize City, police in Placencia had their hands full with a murder in that picturesque village. Around nine p.m. twenty-five year old Shannon “Shaggy” Henderson was found dead in his home, the victim of gunshot wounds to the chest and back. Cops believe that Henderson had engaged in a drug deal with two men earlier in the evening and when they returned an argument ensued, ending in Shaggy’s demise. Two suspects have been detained and police are looking for two others.
