Armed robbers touch woman for $14,000.00
Belize City police are tonight looking for two men in connection with a home invasion which left a housewife injured and fourteen thousand dollars poorer. The victim is thirty year old Fromi Daly, a resident of Dean Street. According to Daly, about a quarter to five on Wednesday morning she was coming out of her bathroom located downstairs of her home when she was accosted by two men, who asked for her husband, Henry Daly. Fromi told police that the duo, wearing masks and armed with handguns, escorted her upstairs and when they saw that her husband was not there, one of them hit her in the head with the firearm and she fell to the ground. They then proceeded to search the house and stole over fourteen thousand dollars in cash and jewelry before making their pre-dawn escape.
