Corrected statistic: Finnegan is biggest winner
And in yet another correction to the supposedly final figures from the Elections and Boundaries Department, we reported last night that the politician who amassed the largest majority in his constituency was Prime Minister Dean Barrow with seventy-six point one percent of the vote. In fact the honour belongs to Mesopotamia representative Michael Finnegan who cornered seventy-six point nine percent of the ballots. Viewers should note that there have been errors in virtually every document put out by the department. Other minor discrepancies can be found between the percentage figures published by various media houses. These are attributable to whether or not they choose to factor into their computations the seven hundred and forty-nine ballots that were rejected by returning officers.
