Belize tops St. Kitts in World Cup qualifier
Ninety-nine percent of the news coverage revolved around the insulting, degrading, and humiliating decision to play today’s home World Cup qualifying match against St. Kitts in Guatemala City. But behind the politics was an important sporting event. And guess what? Belize was victorious. The score was 3-1, with two goals scored by Deon McCauley and one by Harrison Roches. Congratulations are in order to all the players, if not the Football Federation of Belize. The return match will be played in St. Kitts on March twenty-sixth.
